For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

Weddings
Celebrates the holy
sacrament of love, a
union grounded in
God’s enduring
covenant.
Marriage is a sacred gift and a reflection of God’s enduring
love. At Grace Lutheran Church Brooklyn, we offer
personalized wedding ceremonies that honor your love
story and invite God’s presence into your union. Pastor
Khader Khalilia offers pre-marital counseling, helps plan
meaningful liturgy, and works closely with couples to create
a ceremony that reflects their faith, values, and the joy of
beginning a new chapter together in Christ, guiding them
with care and joy every step of the way. Whether you're a
member or seeking a church home, we welcome your
celebration here.
Baptism is a beautiful and meaningful sacrament in the
Lutheran tradition, symbolizing God’s grace and welcome
into the body of Christ. We celebrate baptism for infants,
children, and adults, affirming that it is God who acts first
in love. Baptism is not just an event but the beginning of
a lifelong journey of faith, learning, and community, and
our congregation is committed to supporting those who
are baptized as they walk with God.
Ready to explore baptism for yourself or a loved one?
In times of loss, we offer compassionate support to our
members and their families, as well as to all those who
have not yet found a church home with us, by providing a
caring environment to honor the life and memory of
loved ones through funeral and memorial services. We
understand the grief that accompanies the loss of a loved
one, and we are here to provide comfort, prayer, and
support during these challenging times. Pastor Khader
Khalilia will work closely with families to create
meaningful services that reflect the life of the departed
and the hope we have in Christ.
We are committed to living out our faith not only through
worship and community, but through justice, compassion,
and service. Here are a few ways you can get involved, stay
informed, and be a part of God’s work in the world.
